This is the blog and documentation for CoActionDrama.

I wrote CoActionDrama a few years ago when I regualarly attended Bangor Wargaming and Roleplaying Society, which is a student society of Bangor University.  I was going to get it published, but that fell through some time ago, and I am now releasing it under a Creative Commons attribution licence.  My name is Friday Jones, and I am a programmer and gamer.

CoActionDrama was written because I got, well, a bit fed up of trying to remember arcane rules, and possibly buy many books, being tied up to a single setting.  I wanted something more flexible, especially as I was running impromptu games very often.

In fact, my large player group helped me develop the system, and I’m very grateful to them for their time and dedication.

Previously, this website has had a forum for player, a spell list, (a very large one), and the game has been available to download before.  I’m afraid that my Degree, (yes, I was a mature student), got in the way of keeping this up,and I finally abandoned everything the year before last.

Now, however, I am running my system in the Student National Wargaming and Roleplaying Championships runnning in Manchester this year, (HomeBrew Section),  and I have vowed to make the game available online for players before hand.  This is the perfect time to make it available more generally including to my old players, and hope that it gets into some wider circulation.

You might want to review the other About pages when they get written.  For now, I’m going to upload the PDF of the game, and insert it into this website as html pages.  Have fun!
