| Name | Explanation |
| Detect Disease | Determine if a person has contracted a disease and what the proper treatment for that disease is. |
| Detect Poison | Tell if an item has poison in or on it. This skill can also allow the user to determine the type and intensity of the poison with a second successful roll. If this roll is failed you may suffer the effects of the poison. One half of this Development determine if an individual has been poisoned. |
| Diagnosis | Figuring out why your patient is dying. |
| First Aid | Provide emergency medical care to an injured individual. This includes the ability to treat shock, stop bleeding, and bandage wounds correctly and to know how to prepare and use medicinal herbs and plants. At a high skill level it is possible to promote healing and restore injury points to an individual. Binding of wounds to restore lost injury points can only be done on an individual once per day. (Points rolled under special are applied as healing to the patient). |
| Forensic Medicine | Specialising provides a +2 bonus. |
| Forensics | The ability to find out information from evidence. |
| Genetics | How make Dolly the sheep again, and again, and again, or modify diseases, etc. Specify. |
| Herbology | The practice of herb collecting for fun and profit, and possibly growing them as well. |
| Medic | The ability to help a sick or hurt person heal. Not deep diagnosis. |
| Medical Doctor | As in General Practitioner. May be Specialised. You must be at least 25 years of age to be a GP and another year older for each Specialisation. |
| Neurology | You must have the Medical Doctor, or similar Development and for every point over 23 in the total roll for this Development, you must be one year older than your base age. |
| Paramedic | As Medic. |
| Pathology | How to study the dead and determine what they died of. |
| Pharmacology | How to be a pharmacist or Apothecary. |
| Poisons | Stopping living through chemistry. |
| Stomach | How to eat the barely edible. |
| Surgery | How to cure people by cutting them open and ripping things out. Must be a GP and specialist and for every point over 23 over the total roll in this development, you must be a year older. |
